Pre-Season Volunteering

Pres-Sason Volunteering

Three 5-day weeks beginning May 4, 11 and 18

Five days in length, Pre-Season experiences typically utilize two dozen or more volunteers who come to assist with "spring cleaning," preparing Medora for the arrival of our guests. There are no pre-set limits on the number of volunteers accepted in Pre-Season.

This is hands-on, "not afraid to get a little dirty," indoor and outdoor spring cleaning/fix up/paint it experience! Perfect for those who want things "just right" before the guests arrive!

Outside Clean-up Examples;
raking leaves, preparing flowerbeds and planting flowers, pruning trees and shrubs, painting/staining, cleaning, light maintenance and carpentry work, and various duties at the Bully Pulpit Golf Course, the amphitheater and around Medora.

Indoor Clean-Up;
cleaning and preparing TRMF businesses for the season, including the Marquis de Mores Ice Cream Parlor, Medora Fudge & Ice Cream Depot, Rough Riders Hotel, Welcome Center and others. Stocking shelves, chasing "dust bunnies", scrubbing floors, walls, etc.

Highlights: The changes are daily and significant, volunteers are excited to leave their "mark" for all who will come to visit. While some bring years of experience to certain tasks, others get to learn brand new skills while meeting new friends. Watch Medora and your life blossom!
