Cross Country Skiing at Bully Pulpit
Bully Pulpit in Medora now offers FREE winter fun with a new cross country ski trail system. There are 7 miles of scenic groomed trails that run throughout the golf course and along the Little Missouri River.
The Bully Pulpit clubhouse is the starting point, offering plenty of parking and a place to relax and warm up. The groomed trails are available everyday and skiers need not check in before starting.
All trails are marked and mapped offering skiers direction and distances prior to choosing any trail. Skiers have an opportunity to decide where and how far to go based on their ability.
Clubhouse availability is subject to office hours Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm, closed Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Skiers must have their own equipment.
All skiers must stay on designated trails.

CURRENT CROSS COUNTRY TRAIL CONDITIONS: March 9, 2010 - Trails are CLOSED due to warm temperatures melting snow. We will keep you posted if conditions should change.
- Green Trail (1.8 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
- Pink Trail (2.1 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
- Yellow Trail (.8 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
- Purple Trail (.6 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
- Red Trail (1.5 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
- Brown Trail (.2 miles) - CLOSED - Poor condition
All of the cross country trails at Bully Pulpit are groomed every other day on rotation. Please note that the spring thaw, snowfall, snowstorms, and wind play a key role in the grooming schedule and can cause surface changes on recently groomed trails.
