Hiking 

Interested in terrific day hikes?  Stop by the Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit Visitor Center.  Park Rangers can suggest a variety of trails in the park that are perfect for a daytime adventure.  The Maah Daah Hey Trail also offers exhilarating hiking trails that meander through the rugged North Dakota Badlands.  Be prepared - bring plenty of water and wear appropriate hiking gear.

Mountain Biking 

Rent a mountain bike for an enjoyable journey through the rugged terrain and scenic splendor of the badlands.  Various trail lengths and difficulties await the novice of the expert rider.  Bike rentals, shuttle services and trail information are available at the Dakota Cyclery Mountain Bike Adventures in downtown Medora.   A variety of guided rides are available.  Reservations are available by calling 701-623-4808
